Having practically been born in his father’s record store, Marcel has been exposed to music since his very earliest days. A passion for music and movies plays a big part in his life.

After studying electronic engineering in Amsterdam, Marcel started his high-end audio and video systems business in 1984. Thirty-five years’ experience and continuous learning have made him a well-respected specialist in both the professional and domestic audio-visual worlds. As a professional adviser and system designer, his sole aim is to get the best possible performance out of every system. The importance of calibrating equipment to achieve its full potential has always been key. No equipment can be left on its default settings if it is to deliver premium quality.

Marcel has been ISF certified since 2004 and he also holds THX and HAA certification.

In his personal life, Marcel is the proud father of a son and daughter with whom he shares his passions for music, movies and sport. His love of running has led him to take part in demanding triathlons such as the Iron Man.
